Sun Protection Spray for Pets

You can help your pet to keep cool with frozen toys, and when out and about remember that if the ground is too hot to touch with your hand for a few seconds, it is too hot for paws!

Using our Sun Spray is simple and convenient. Spray liberally onto your pet's coat while avoiding the face, eyes, and other sensitive areas. For delicate areas, such as the face and ears, apply the spray to your hands and gently rub on your pet. Pay extra attention to any exposed skin, short-haired areas, stomach, paws, ears and nose as these are more susceptible to sunburn. If your pooch has white or light-coloured fur, they can be very vulnerable to getting burnt!

For optimal protection, apply the spray 15 minutes before sun exposure to allow it to absorb fully. Reapply every 30-60 minutes, especially if your pet is swimming or playing in water. Remember that the sun can be extra dangerous for our furry friends, so you should always provide access to shaded areas and ensure that there is cold, clean, fresh water available for them!
